How to Change the Client Station Name of the MCS?

The computer icon names on the CCP MCS desktop are taken from your computer name. There is no method to change this.

If you wish to change this you will need to change the name of the computer.

Example: Windows 7

1. Go to the Windows Start bar.

2. Click "Computer".

3. Click "System Properties" (Located on top nav bar).

4. Under the "Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings" area, look for the "Change Settings" option.

5. In this window, the bottom option is "To rename this computer, click Change". Click "Change".

6. Rename the "Computer-Name" are to what you wish then click "OK" to save.

Note: This change will also change the settings for that station as far as CyberCafePro is concerned. The icon that represents the computer that was changed will need to be deleted. Right click the icon then choose "Delete..".
